Join us for this exciting program by Ghanaian artist Kwame Brenya. He will offer us an introduction to Adinkra symbols, their history and significance, as well as his own insight into how the symbols are a language encrypted with messages for all aspects of life: social, spiritual, economic and political.
Join us in this workshop exploring the concept of patience as an integral part of the creative process, while encouraging reflection and mindfulness. Amudzi will guide us through the delicate art of photo transfer, with each participant taking home a piece of art made during the workshop.
Please bring a portrait of yourself that is of personal significance, printed on regular a5 paper in color or B&W.
The workshop will be in English. Light food and drink will be served
